Process simulation

Process simulation programs are an important tool for the reliable dimensioning of new production plants and their efficient use during the entire time of operation.

POLYMETRIX has comprehensive data material on the material properties of polymers. We obtain further information on specific material properties from our laboratory. There, we treat customer samples as close as possible to the desired large-scale process conditions.

In combination with the know-how and experience of our process design engineers, these results form the basis for the design of future and existing plants.

To model, simulate and optimize the plants, POLYMETRIX uses a modern thermodynamic simulation program with integrated in-house developed models for various process aspects such as gas-solid heat exchange, crystallization, drying and polycondensation reactions.

The models are regularly updated with data from commercial plants.
